How Long Is Early Years Educator Apprenticeship?

The Level 2

Apprenticeship will be zero for you if you are between the age of 16 and 23. In fact, you will get paid as an apprentice. Generally, Level 2 apprenticeships take 12 months, while for Level 3 ones, you will need to wait for 18 to 24 months based on your earlier experience and competence level. 

The Level 3

If you are after Early Years Educator, Child Minder, Supervisor, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Teaching Assistant, you should go for the Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) Apprenticeship. 

If you already have some experience in this field, experts suggest that you go for the Level 3. As an EYE, you will look after of up to 5 years old. According to research studies, special kids are 4 months behind when they are 11 years old and 19 months behind when they are 16 years old. As an apprentice, you can help fill in this gap. 

After completing your apprenticeship, the institution will award you with the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship and other diplomas.
